Summary: A short, open-ended and mysterious story. A young man visits some Healers.
He breathes slowly, at a steady pace. He feels his consciousness take off, flying away. Colors float around him. Orbs of light shine brightly.
The Healers look at each other, surprised. They didn't expect this young man to be able to separate his soul from his body and bring it back.
When it's all over, they ask him how he does it.
“Oh, that? A wandering soul showed me how.”
“Whose soul?”
“A cat. A certain Rufus. He spoke like a human.”
The Healers are stunned. The young man bids them farewell and, since he is in good health, returns home.
